LM LIGHT PHOTOTHERAPY
For acne, photo rejuvenation and pain relief.
Safe, gentle and non-invasive, pain free phototherapy using the Curelight iClear Selective Photo Clearing System is the recommended treatment for:
- Skin fatigue such as fine lines around the eyes and lips
- Uneven texture and loss of elasticity
- Pain relief
How does it work?
Louise May’s Curelight iClear Selective Photo Clearing System uses high intensity, plasma blue light, proven to treat acne and inflamed skin three times faster than other traditional methods by more effectively destroying the p-acnes bacteria that causes acne. The blue light is clinically proven to reduce the acne by an impressive 70% reduction within 6-12 treatments. Light therapy can be used alone or as a combination approach with other in-clinic modalities.
Skin Rejuvenation and anti-ageing
The blue, near-infra red light emitted by the Curelight iClear System has a strong anti-inflammatory effect on skin tissue. This specific wavelength of light enhances blood and lymphatic circulation in the skin and stimulates the production of ferritin, an important anti-oxidant and collagen stimulant. The System also enhances the performance of topical antioxidants such as Vitamins C and E or other ampules, resulting in softer, more radiant skin, making it the perfect complement to other in clinic treatments.
The deep penetration of near-infrared light enhances blood circulation and stimulates a natural anti-inflammatory response in the skin, tendons and muscles (suitable for inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, gout and wound healing).
Does it hurt?
Both plasma blue light and near-infrared light is pain free and hands free, so take the opportunity to relax while your skin is corrected. The rays emitted are non-damaging (no harmful UVA/UVB rays), effective and rejuvenating for all skins. You’ll leave the Clinic feeling relaxed and pampered, and can simply continue with your day.
How many treatments will I need?
This will depend on your skin concern and desired results, all of which your clinician will discuss with you at your SKIN ID analysis. For best results, a series of treatments at weekly intervals over a 12 week period is recommended.
